TC4WheEl Integrated Wheel Motor System for AGV and AMR

The wheel motor system is an innovative, compact, and fully integrated solution that combines a servomotor, gearbox and wheel, specifically designed for Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) and Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs). This system is ideal for intralogistics, manufacturing plant and internal automation processes, providing AGV and AMR manufacturers with an advanced solution to enhance efficiency, reliability, and sustainability.

Key Features of the TC4WheEl wheel motor solution

The wheel motor system is based on the brushless servomotor technology of the TC4 series in the "Single Cable" version, which integrates an advanced encoder system and offers various feedback options, including Safety DSL and Safety Endat 3. This technology ensures reliable and safe communication while simplifying cabling. Additionally, a Resolver option is available for more demanding environments.

The servomotor is available in an “eXtreme” version, designed and built to operate in extreme temperatures starting at -40°C, ensuring stable performance even in challenging environmental conditions.

The wheel motor system is available in three different sizes to adapt to various load and dimensional requirements, offering greater flexibility and capacity for higher load applications:

- Size 60 servomotor with 48V voltage and 160mm wheel diameter
- Size 80 servomotor with 48V voltage and 200mm wheel diameter
- Size 100 servomotor with 48V or 96V voltage and 250mm wheel diameter

These configurations meet diverse speed, acceleration, and load capacity needs, making them suitable for numerous application scenarios.

The Low Voltage (LV) windings ensure high safety and optimal energy efficiency for intralogistics applications, perfectly aligning with battery-powered systems.

Furthermore, the wheel motor system complies with UL certification, already applied to the TC4, ensuring adherence to international standards and consistent quality for global customers.
